Through a recent tweet from Nintendo of Europe, it was announced that the Gameboy Advance version of Fire Emblem will be arriving on the European Virtual Console tomorrow.

Nintendo #eShop receives a critical hit tomorrow. #GBA classic Fire Emblem arrives on #WiiU Virtual Console!

Interestingly enough, although there is no subtitle, Fire Emblem on the Gameboy Advance is actually the seventh game in the franchise, though the second on the GBA. No price for the title has been announced, although it is expected to be priced similarly to other GBA titles.

Fire Emblem scored very favorably amongst critics when it was first released in 2003, holding an 89% average on Gamerankings. Unfortunately, no North American release has been announced yet for this Virtual Console title; however, considering the similarity between the North American and European eShop, it would be safe to assume that we will see Fire Emblem making its way over to North America at a point sometime soon.
