The first screenshots of an Unreal Engine 4 demo reel have been revealed and give us a glimpse of the complexity the engine will be able to handle in its graphic environments. Of course, the question is what systems will the Unreal Engine 4 be running on. In the past we explained how UE4 will theoretically be able to run on the Wii U if it was scaled down to the power of the Wii U, this doesn\’t mean that it’s actually confirmed that the UE4 is up and running on the system. There also was the recent rumor that Epic Games has had some involvement with either the Metroid series or with Retro Studios. That will be clarified for us at E3. In the meantime, take a look at the gallery of screen-captures from Unreal Engine 4.
