Fitness Boxing 2 imagineer 500,000 copies sold

Publisher Imagineer has announced that Fitness Boxing 2: Rhythm and Exercise has shipped over 500,000 units. This includes worldwide shipments and digital sales. The game launched on Dec. 3 in Japan and Dec. 4 worldwide. Imagineer also states on their website that this brings the culminative series sales to over 1.5 million units (via Gematsu).

To celebrate this occasion, the training videos included in Fitness Boxing 2 will be available for free on YouTube for a limited time. If you don’t have a Nintendo Switch or a copy of the game, this will allow you to experience the workout options on offer. Unfortunately, these are all in Japanese, so it is unknown whether or not western audiences will get them.

The developer has also confirmed that the No Mercy Intensity add-on is now available for trainers Janice, Martina, and Sophie. This content has already been released for Lin and Evan. Essentially this mode provides a tougher workout, with harder combos to master.

There is a free demo on the Nintendo Switch eShop that allows you to get a taste for what’s on offer. Fitness Boxing 2 provides a fun daily workout with the option to play with your family and friends. Progress can also be transferred from the original game, so you can continue where you left off.
