Five Nights at Freddy's 1, 2, and 3 all come to Switch this month

It was announced in November of 2018 that Scott Cawthon’s Five Nights at Freddy’s would be coming to Nintendo Switch in some form, but not much had come up on the subject since then — till now. The Nintendo website has updated with listings for Five Nights at Freddy’s 1, 2, and 3, and they all release on Nov. 29 for $7.99 each on the eShop. Yes, that’s right — you can celebrate Black Friday with frightening automatons.

Cawthon’s franchise began life in 2014, and he has been cranking out the games at a breakneck pace since then, with 2 coming out in the same year and 3 coming out in 2015. These particular games involve surviving the night at locations where creepy animatronic robots come to life at night and will totally murder you if you don’t keep an eye on them.

Here is a description of the original Five Nights at Freddy’s, where you play as a security guard doing a summer job:

From your small office you must watch the security cameras carefully. You have a very limited amount of electricity that you’re allowed to use per night (corporate budget cuts, you know). That means when you run out of power for the night- no more security doors and no more lights! If something isn’t right- namely if Freddybear or his friends aren’t in their proper places, you must find them on the monitors and protect yourself if needed!

Can you survive five nights at Freddy’s?

No, I probably can’t. But if you think you can, or if you have before, let us hear about it in the comments.
