Epic Games is giving Fortnite players a chance to return to the playground this week. On July 25, all versions of the game including the Switch version will have Playground mode. The limited time mode will now allow players the opportunity to switch teams in-game and practice either with or against each other. The playground also comes with a few perks including an added 100 supply drops, and rocket ammo now has a cap of 60.

For those who love llamas, the v5.10 patch also includes the spawning of 100 llamas on the map. The patch also fixes some in-game bugs. Text layouts will now have better, more proper frame rates, and items on the ground will have their counts updated while a player is staring at them.

The patch also comes with a special birthday celebration. To celebrate its first birthday, Fortnite will be using cake to help players instantly gain increases in both health and shield. Also by completing three birthday challenges players can unlock a new spray, Backbling, and emote. As of right now, it is unknown how long the birthday event and playground will be available.

Epic Games has also made a bunch of changes and improvements to both weapons and gameplay, you can read about them all in the v.5.10 patch notes.
