Last November, developer Aiming announced that its free-to-play MMORPG Caravan Stories is also coming to Nintendo Switch. We learned today that the fantasy RPG’s Switch version launches in Japan on March 18, 2021.
Caravan Stories on Nintendo Switch will feature the same free-to-play model with microtransactions that we’ve seen for the PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile versions of the game. The Switch version will also use a cloud game system, so you won’t have to worry about downloading massive files to play. The only thing you’ll need is a Switch and a stable network to play.
When the Switch version launches, all players will receive free daily x10 gacha rolls as a login bonus. The daily login bonus will give out a total of 150 gacha rolls throughout the campaign. There will also be a separate login bonus that will give players different items ranging from crystals to tickets.
A bunny girl costume for the popular hero Emily will also go out to all players.
Keep in mind that the Caravan Stories Switch version announcement has only been made in Japan so far, but considering that the game is already available on PlayStation 4 in North America, we’ll likely hear about its localization sometime in the near future.
