Game Boy gets fashionable with these Russell Westbrook sneakers

Gaming fashion is a real thing, folks. There are countless video game themed shirts, pants, hats, and everything else you can put on your body. Now you can outfit your feet with a Game Boy flair thanks to the Russell Westbrook Why Not Zero.2 Jordans.

These nostalgic kicks really get the look down of Nintendo’s classic handheld. The dark and light grey pattern paired up with the “spinach green” screen side piece pairs up nicely. There’s even a miniature cartridge dangled on the side along with the Russell Westbrook name replacing where it would say Game Boy.

The best part of this package, however, is the box that the sneakers come in. Designed by Beaverton design studio Recon Beat Lab, the box is outfitted in the style of a Game Boy. Even the buttons and d-pad pop out!

This isn’t the first time Russell Westbrook rocked some nostalgic kicks, though. He previously wore a previous version of Why Not Zero.2 modeled after the Super Soaker.

If you’re a big sneaker fan and your wardrobe could use some Game Boy love, then you gotta check these out. No release date has been announced yet, but let us know if you plan to pick these when they drop.
