Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered

Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered has a brand new trailer, uploaded to Nintendo’s YouTube channel, that celebrates the fact that the game can now be preordered through its official website. Odd, since it has been preorderable on other sites for a while now, but since the trailer has a whole bunch of Dan Akroyd, we will let it slide. While Akroyd dominates the trailer, you can catch some glimpses of the hot new graphics in between shots of the famous Ghostbuster enthusiastically recruiting players to join his team. Of course, that all-too-familiar theme blasts in the background throughout the minute-long trailer.

Releasing on October 4 of this year, Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered is a bit over a month away, and will cost $29.99 USD at launch. It can be purchased digitally on the Switch eShop while physical copies will be exclusively available at GameStop.

Will you be grabbing Ghostbusters: The Video Game Remastered when it launches in October? Is this new trailer’s heavy dose of Dan Akroyd what it took to win you over? I never played the original, but the gameplay is looking pretty swanky here, so I might have to give it a shot since it is only $30. However, two weeks after The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening Remastered and (barely) in the same month as Luigi’s Mansion 3 means it will probably have to wait.
