Cuphead King Dice Devil artist Raf Grassetti

We cover the “realistic art” of God of War art director Raf Grassetti pretty regularly at Nintendo Enthusiast, and the reason for it is that you guys seem to really like the stuff. He has gathered a lot of popularity for his “Super Smash Bros. Remastered” series of realistic Smash Bros. characters, which he recently expanded to include Waluigi. However, taking a break from his usual work, Grassetti has this time whipped up renditions of the two big villains of Cuphead! We present to you some extra fiendish art of King Dice and the Devil himself.

Honestly, the Devil looks kind of drunk, like he might be just getting ready to give you a big hug. King Dice definitely looks like he wants to murder you to triple death though. I mean, even his head is called a die, people. Yeah, this is a fun riff on the Cuphead art.

Speaking of which, and as Grassetti himself mentions, don’t forget that The Cuphead Show! is in development at Netflix for an undisclosed future release. Even without knowing much of anything about the series, I have to imagine it’s going to be a ton of fun for people of all ages.
