Gogeta SSGSS in Dragon Ball FighterZ new details

Evo 2019 revealed that Janemba and Gogeta SSGSS (Super Saiyan God Super Saiyan, duh) were coming to Dragon Ball FighterZ as FighterZ Pass 2 DLC, and Janemba already arrived back on Aug. 8. No release date has been set for Gogeta SSGSS, and admittedly, there is still very little known about him even now. However, a couple bits of new information have now come to light from Japanese Jump magazine, per Siliconera.

To begin a battle, Goku and Vegeta will do the Fusion Dance to make Gogeta appear. Additionally, the Kamehameha and Galick Gun will be his standard Ki blast attacks. And finally, his Meteor Attack will seemingly be the Full-Force Kamehameha, the extremely overpowered attack that the character uses at the end of Dragon Ball Super: Broly.

So far, our only official look at Gogeta SSGSS in Dragon Ball FighterZ has been in the Janemba announcement trailer, where they both look appropriately fierce. The Dragon Ball Super version of Broly will bookend the FighterZ Pass 2 DLC, though he has no release date either at this time.

Dragon Ball FighterZ is doing very well for itself, and Dragon Ball Z: Kakarot, though not coming to Switch, will likely be a great time for fans on other platforms. Now if only they could get their act together and start a new Dragon Ball anime to continue what’s happening in the manga right now!
