In case you didn’t catch it, Cuphead is coming to Nintendo Switch! Known for its extreme difficulty, fans are concerned that the developers may make Cuphead more accessible on Switch. In a recent interview with Kotaku at Nintendo’s 2019 GDC indie event, Jared Moldenhauer co-director of Cuphead addressed the matter.

Some people wondered if we were going to tweak the balance or really adjust things, and I don’t see that as being fair…We wanted to let the next wave of gamers experience it exactly how we intended to make it.”

There you have it. It looks like fans will be able to get the full game experience on the Switch. Just try not to get too frustrated! Are you happy to see the developers keep the difficulty intact on the Switch version of Cuphead? As always be sure to share all your thoughts with us in the comments down below!
