Guacamelee! DrinkBox

If you were gearing up to snag the all-in-one package of DrinkBox’s hit action platformer this month, then you may be sorely disappointed. Vendors have been altering their release dates for Guacamelee! One-Two Punch Collection, including Amazon, to June 25. So it seems fans will have to wait another month to get their hands on the collection. In the grand scheme of things, a month isn’t too terribly long.

In February, DrinkBox Studios and Leadman Games announced that the original Guacamelee! and it’s sequel, Guacamelee! 2 would be packaged together in a physical edition for the Nintendo Switch originally set to release in May. The package does include a double-sided poster, instruction booklet, and codes for each of the game’s soundtracks. The game is priced at $39.99, though, if you pre-order on Amazon as of this moment, the title is listed for a small discount of $37.08. Hey, every dollar counts right?

Both games have been critically acclaimed within the gaming community offering colorful visuals and artistic design, fun and intuitive gameplay, and a great soundtrack to boot. You’d be mistaken to pass on playing either of these titles. If you haven’t already, now is the chance to get your pre-order in for the bundle of games launching in June. I’m sure this will be a hot item for collectors of physical games and fans of the Guacamelee! games.
