hades physical release switch

Looking for yet another reason to hop back into one of 2020’s most acclaimed indie titles? Or have you yet to hit the ground running from the bottom of Tartarus? Then we bring good tidings from today’s Nintendo Direct! Supergiant Games’ infernal roguelike Hades will be escaping the digital confines of the eShop with a dedicated physical release for Nintendo Switch next month.

As of March 19, you will be able to pick up a copy of Hades at retail, but it won’t come with the cartridge alone. For extra incentive, the game comes bundled with a couple of extra goodies: a PC download code for the soundtrack by Darren Korb, who worked on previous Supergiant titles, and a character compendium for the game’s wide cast!

If you held off on buying Hades before, would a physical release on Switch finally win you over? Or will you be double-dipping if you already bought it on the eShop? Let us know in the comments.
