Hollow Knight is one of the best and most popular indie games in recent memory. The sprawling world and challenging combat hooked millions of players, and the deep lore and multiple endings left them wanting more. That’s where Silksong comes in. Once planned as DLC, it has since evolved into a full-fledged sequel starring Hornet. It’s been nearly two years since Team Cherry first announced it, and we’ve seen little since then. Fortunately, Edge Magazine will soon put an end to the dry spell!

Edge Magazine on Hollow Knight: Silksong

Last week, rumors began circulating that Edge Magazine would soon run a cover story on Hollow Knight: Silksong. Today those stories proved true, and the upcoming issue’s cover art was posted online. This issue will be the last penned by Jen Simpkins, and it’s set to release on December 31. The cover art, seen below, is a beautiful image of Hornet in Pharloom, courtesy of Ari Gibson. In the meantime, Jen gave us a summary of what we can expect.

For the December issue of Edge Magazine, Team Cherry showed off a new demo of Silksong. They also provided Jen with new screenshots and conducted hours of interviews. They’ve been extremely busy with development, but they gave their time generously to reward players for their patience. This should be a great issue for all Hollow Knight fans! We’ll update you on all the new info when it drops.
