HORI has created a variety of Switch accessories at this point, but the company is showing no signs of stopping anytime soon. Its next product launch will be a budget gaming headset.
It sports a 40mm driver, an extension cable to keep it plugged in at a distance, and an adjustable mic. The mic cannot be removed, but it can be turned on or off.
Beyond this, the HORI Switch headset really doesn’t have anything else to offer (other than it coming two different color schemes: black or black and red). It’s not super fancy like the Asus ROG Strix wireless headset. But, again, this is meant to be a budget-friendly, entry-level headset. That’s why its price in Japan will be a mere 3608 yen ($33.17 US).
The headset will launch next month (November 2019) over in Japan. HORI tends to bring its products over to the West, so you should expect the same to happen in this case.
