Hot Wheels Unleashed trailers reveal the DC Super-Villains Racing Season in November and the paid DLC Batman Expansion in December.

Mattel, Milestone, and Koch Media launched Hot Wheels Unleashed last month, and as our review articulated, the game is surprisingly great, even when factoring in the reduced hardware power of Nintendo Switch. And since these companies have a hit on their hands, they are going to let the good times roll with new content galore, both free and paid. Along those lines, Hot Wheels Unleashed trailers have dropped revealing the free DC Super-Villains Racing Season, which occurs November 11 through January 18, and the paid Batman Expansion DLC, which will launch December 2.

The Hot Wheels Unleashed DC Super-Villains Racing Season in November will introduce six new themed vehicles: Bane, The Cheetah, Poison Ivy, Black Manta, Deathstroke, and Harley Quinn. It will further add customization items for the Basement and your player profile, plus “plenty of gears and coins for everyone.”

Meanwhile, the Hot Wheels Unleashed: Batman Expansion DLC will add a new Career Map inspired by Gotham City and a new “The Batcave” environment with “many new tracks and items.” The Batman Expansion also adds five themed cars — The Penguin, Robin 2.0T, Armored Batman, Batman Rebirth, and The Joker GT — in addition to more customization items and a new Track Builder Module, the Joker Funhouse Split. This DLC is included in the Hot Wheels Pass Vol. 1 but will be available to purchase separately as well.

So, between the Hot Wheels Unleashed DC Super-Villains Racing Season in November and the Batman Expansion in December, there is a lot of DC Comics content to look forward to in this terrific racer.
