How many Nintendo mobile games have you actually played?

Nintendo has been in the mobile ring for a little more than three years now. With assistance from DeNA, Cygames, and others, they have released five games to date: Miitomo, Super Mario Run, Fire Emblem Heroes, Animal Crossing: Pocket Camp, and Dragalia Lost. This year will further see the launch of Dr. Mario World and Mario Kart Tour. However, of the Nintendo mobile games released so far, it’s fair to say not all of them have been big hits.

In fact, Miitomo already shut down in May of 2018. It’s really mostly Fire Emblem Heroes and Dragalia Lost that are raking in dollars for Nintendo. That’s what got us at Nintendo Enthusiast wondering something about our audience: How many of the Nintendo mobile games have you actually played?

The truth is that even we don’t play a ton of these mobile games. I personally have only played Miitomo and Super Mario Run to date. And I actually really enjoyed Miitomo until everyone else stopped bothering with it, in which case I too had no reason to keep using it. I liked Super Mario Run as well! I didn’t regret buying it. Although, I did casually stop playing it rather quickly, not because the game was boring, but because I virtually never get invested in mobile games.

So maybe my problem with these games isn’t their quality, but rather my own personal apathy.

What about you? How many Nintendo mobile games have you actually played? Including the Mario Kart Tour beta! Talk about your experiences in the comments!
