Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Demo Nintendo Warriors Koei Tecmo Omega Force

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity, Nintendo’s tentpole game for the holiday season, is just eight days away. Promising to build on the backstory of The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild by exploring the devastating events that led to the ruined Hyrule which Link explored in the hit Switch launch title, Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity looks to use Warriors-style gameplay to depict a ruthless, large-scale war with a focus on an engrossing story. It’s an intriguing package, to say the least, and plenty of fans are rightfully excited. Where do you stand on the game? Will you be picking it up on day one?

Personally, I’m probably going to be waiting a little while before I grab the game. I’ve got too big a backlog right now, and I’m saving up money for next-gen systems and a potential Switch Pro next year. As much as I love The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, I’m gonna have to wait a little while before I get into this one.

Are you grabbing Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity on day one, or will you wait to pick it up a little later down the line? Are you skipping it entirely? Let us know your thoughts on the game in the comments below.
