Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity

We all know pre-orders went live for Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity a few days ago. But what did Koei Tecmo have in store for Japan? A “Treasure Box,” of course! This limited edition version of the upcoming adventure is exclusive to Japan at the moment, and it includes some fancy knick-knacks.

A copy of Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity plus stuff to display on my shelf? Sold!

As you can see in the picture above, the “Treasure Box” includes a copy of the game, an acrylic art display, a blanket designed like a paraglider (don’t try to use it as a real one), and a metal charm in the shape of a Guardian (no confirmation yet if the eye shoots laser beams). This collector’s edition costs 16,720 yen (about 150 U.S. dollars).

There are no updates on whether a similar package will be heading west but you can still pre-order the “Treasure Box” from Amazon Japan and see if it comes to your residence. Or if you live in the land of the rising sun, you can procure the collection via Koei Tecmo’s website. Personally, I think the edition looks sweet, though I am severely disappointed the items do not come in a treasure chest (it’s ZELDA, for crying out loud!).

Enthusiasts, will you attempt to snag the Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity “Treasure Box” now that pre-orders are live? Let us know below.
