Media Create has released their Japanese sales numbers for the week of 6/12/17, and a common theme is found between the hardware and software charts.

On games side of things we have ARMS leading the way with 100,652 copies sold. Second place is, unsurprisingly, Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, and coming in third is March’s The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild.

The most consoles sold for the week was Nintendo Switch with 37,000 units sold. Given stock shortages, the number could likely be higher if Nintendo would ship more hardware units to the region.

Nintendo crushed in Japan, and with Splatoon 2 on the horizon, that trend will undoubtedly continue.
