The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild has topped Twilight Princess in Japanese sales, according to Media Create.

The outlet is reporting that, in total, Twilight Princess sold 642,607 units. Surpassing it, Breath of the Wild has just passed 709,091 copies.

This is a milestone for the game. Twilight Princess was on two consoles, with a total of 130 systems sold in total. On the other side of the coin, Breath of the Wild is on a system with 14 million sales, and another with an estimated 5-7 million sold. The Switch version is selling incredibly well, as it’s the ideal way to play the game: at home, or on-the-go.
