Japan: ‘Splatoon 2’ Has Already Sold More Units Than The Original Game

Media Create Sales for 12/18/17 – 12/24/17 have been released, and an interesting detail has been picked up by Nintendo Soup.

In Japan, Splatoon 2 has already sold more units than the original Splatoon. Splatoon released back in Summer 2015, whereas Splatoon 2 only released Summer of this year. This is an impressive feat., and goes to show how much Japan is eating up Splatoon content.

Splatoon 2 has sold 1,668,466 units; Splatoon, on the Wii U, has sold 1,532,079 units.
