Nintendo Switch sales 100 million

Media Create has recently released yet another of its weekly sales charts. This data is from the week of November 7th, 2017 to December 3rd, 2017.  As you can tell by the headline, the Switch has once again hit over 100,000 sales this week. The gulf between it and the other consoles on the list is quite large. See for yourself:

Previous week’s data in brackets “()”

  • Nintendo Switch – 124,770 (145,200)
  • PS4 – 25,163 (20,384)
  • New Nintendo 2DS LL [XL] – 20,712 (20,283)
  • New Nintendo 3DS LL [XL] – 12,431 (11,511)
  • PS4 Pro – 8,244 (6,525)
  • PS Vita – 6,127 (5,964)
  • Nintendo 2DS – 2,747 (2,838)

  • Xbox One – 295 (196)
  • Xbox One X – 213 (212)
  • PS3 – 48 (46)

It will be interesting to see how long the Switch will be able to keep up this strong momentum. In any event, it’s clear that Japanese gamers are very into the system.
