Square Enix has revealed a new figure of Naminé from Kingdom Hearts III as the latest from the action figure brand Bring Arts. Preorders are now live, with a release date set for August 2022.
While the new figure is based on Naminé’s appearance from Kingdom Hearts III, she made her first appearance in the 2004 Game Boy Advance title Kingdom Hearts: Chain of Memories. She was created when Sora stabbed himself with Ansem’s Keyblade to bring Kairi’s heart back to her body. So that makes her Kairi’s Nobody. What makes her unique is her ability to manipulate Sora’s memories. Now, if that makes absolutely no sense to you, then you’re probably better off starting Kingdom Hearts from the start when it eventually comes to Switch.
As for the figure, it stands at about 136.5mm in height, with a width of 36mm and a depth of 23mm. It weighs about 86.7g.
Some people don’t like the Square Enix Bring Arts figures because of the prominent joints. However, what makes the Bring Arts figures special is their poseability. You can even pose the Naminé figure to look just like the way she does in the official artwork.
The Naminé Bring Arts figure comes with a stand, chair, sketchbook, and various spare parts.
The Kingdom Hearts III Bring Arts Naminé figure will ship in August 2022. Preorder the figure on the Square Enix e-Store for 9,680 yen (~$84.72). Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud, which also includes Kingdom Hearts III and the HD 1.5, 2.5 and 2.8 ReMix games, is coming to Nintendo Switch via cloud, but a release date is still unannounced. However, if you’re looking for the Kingdom Hearts games to receive a native, non-cloud release on Nintendo Switch, producer Ichiro Hazama mentioned its possibility though the matter is undecided.
