Square Enix has announced that a Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory demo will launch in mid-October, which in the case of Nintendo Switch means we can expect it on the Switch eShop. It should give everyone a taste of the game prior to the launch date of Nov. 13.

Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory is the first entry for the series on Nintendo Switch, and it’s also an action rhythm game. Players need to match their button presses to the timing of the music in order to progress. This includes progressing in combat, which has been melded with the rhythm-based gameplay to offer a seamless Kingdom Hearts experience. Melody of Memories will feature numerous worlds and game modes and over 140 songs.
The contents of the Kingdom Hearts: Melody of Memory demo are not yet known, but Square Enix has developed a track record for offering pretty extensive demos for its games, especially in the case of Dragon Quest XI S.
