Anime fans have a lot of Nintendo Switch action to look forward to this year, as a wide variety of high-profile Japanese television series are getting console game spinoffs in 2020. Re:Zero – Starting Life in Another World is getting a visual novel game, for example, while hot-blooded soccer anime Captain Tsubasa is getting a promising sports action game adaptation. As for raunchy slapstick fantasy comedy KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World!, we already knew about a first-person dungeon crawler based on the series that’s heading to Nintendo Switch this summer. Now, though, fans have a total of three different games based on the anime to look forward to on Nintendo Switch, and one of them is a dang shoot ’em up.
A new adventure game for the series titled KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love for this Tempting Attire was recently announced by Mages, and there’s a special day-one edition for it. While many first-print copies of video games would include art books or soundtracks as bonuses, the first-print run of this game actually comes with an entire extra video game – pixelated shoot ’em up Wonderful World! Kazuma’s Jump Out Adventure!. The “pseudo-3D action shoot ’em up” will let you control six different characters from the anime across six stages based on the second season of the anime and the sequel film. As an odd bonus, the first-print run also includes a pair of 3D glasses meant to be used with the bonus Anaglyph 3D Stereoscopic Mode.
KonoSuba: God’s Blessing on this Wonderful World! Love for this Tempting Attire will launch on Nintendo Switch in Japan on September 24.
