Pokémon Unite leak screenshots skins costumes cosmetic purchases Pokemon Unite Tencent TiMi Studios China beta probably

Screenshots from Tencent and TiMi Studios’ upcoming (“not“) MOBA Pokémon Unite have allegedly leaked online. These screenshots were shared by Centro Pokémon and subsequently by others. It looks like you’ll be able to purchase skins for your Pokémon, which is honestly unsurprising. Games such as League of Legends and Smite have been offering optional cosmetic purchases for years.

A variety of these supposed cosmetic skins for Pokémon Unite have been leaked, including a pirate-like costume for Cinderace, Mr. Mime wearing a suit, and my personal favorite, Garchomp wearing a beach outfit! Other Pokémon costumes have also been leaked, and some of them are really cool!

It is speculated that these screenshots were grabbed from a closed beta announced for China last year. Pokémon Unite was a surprise reveal for Nintendo Switch and mobile devices in June 2020, presented in a “Pokémon Presents” livestream. June last year was a big month for Pokémon news as we also got the announcement trailer for the upcoming New Pokémon Snap.

Yesterday we got another trailer and a release date for Snap. Hopefully we will get more information about Pokémon Unite soon, as it is the 25th anniversary of the Pokémon franchise this year. 2021 is surely going to be a big year for Pokémon, so we will keep you updated with the latest information.
