Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been delayed again. After its last delay, the game was supposed to launch sometime in spring 2021, but TT Games has announced that it won’t be able to make this release window, stating on social media that it will need more time to make this the “biggest and best-ever Lego game.”

Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga, as the name implies, will feature content from all nine Star Wars movies. Some of this content has been featured in past Lego Star Wars games, but TT Games promised that returning levels have been reworked to feel new and fresh.
We already know that this project is extremely ambitious, with the game featuring around 300 playable characters. Players will also be able to explore 23 planets / moons with 28 unique locations to visit, each with their own challenges and collectibles to find. TT Games have been experimenting with more open-ended Lego games for quite some time, with the more recent Lego games offering open-world like environments to explore. From the trailers and information that is circulating for The Skywalker Saga, it is safe to assume that this Star Wars adventure will be one of the largest.
Lego Star Wars: The Skywalker Saga has been delayed indefinitely, but hopefully we’ll hear more news in the near future. The game is scheduled to launch on Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X | S, Xbox One, and PC.
