No More Heroes physical edition

Anyone who knows me is aware I am a big proponent of physical media. And one company that is keen on preserving games in cartridge format, especially indies, is Limited Run Games. One of my hopes was the corporation deciding to do physical editions of the Switch remasters of No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle. Well, it pays to be optimistic: Limited Run just announced Standard Editions and Collector’s Editions of both games today!

Physical editions of both No More Heroes titles is what I have been dreaming about for months

Let’s get the basics out of the way. No More Heroes and No More Heroes 2: Desperate Struggle will be getting pre-orders for physical packages on March 12.

For $34.99, you can obtain either title’s Standard Edition, or throw down $69.99 for one of the Collector’s Editions. Feast your eyes on these incredible gifts to humanity:

By the gods, I absolutely need both Collector’s Editions.

As you can see, the pricier versions come with Behind the Scenes Interview + Art Books, Steelbook cases, Orginal Soundtracks, and Reversible Posters. Plus, if you buy both, you can jam them together to create fantastic artwork and get a bonus Santa Destroy flag:

Pre-orders for the games open on March 12 at 10 am ET at Limited Run’s website.

Enthusiasts, will you be up bright and early securing your copies of both No More Heroes physical editions? Let us know your plans below.
