Link's Awakening

Less than a month out from the game’s September 20 release, the North American teaser site for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening has launched. While the full site is not yet available, there is still a good amount of content for you to check out, including a trailer, screenshots, and some background on the premise and gameplay. You can find the site right here.

The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening should land solidly in the middle of the absolutely stellar roll that Nintendo began once Super Mario Maker 2 released at the end of June. Since then, Fire Emblem: Three Houses and Astral Chain have both been very impressive, and Luigi’s Mansion 3 and Pokemon Sword and Shield will both follow up The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening and hopefully cap off a year of home runs for Nintendo.

My hype for this game is growing exponentially every time a new trailer, interview, or screenshot pops up. The game is barely over three weeks away, and while that does not seem like a long wait at all, I get the feeling that it is going to drag by slower than a sleepwalking snail. As we crawl towards that September 20 release date, be sure to keep checking back here at Nintendo Enthusiast for all of the The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening news and impressions that you could possibly want.

Are you excited for The Legend of Zelda: Link’s Awakening?  What part of this astounding reimagining are you most looking forward to? What Zelda game deserves a remake next? Speak up in the comments.
