Little Town Hero Big Idea Edition launches physically this June


Last month we reported on the news that Little Town Hero was getting a physical release. We now know that the Little Town Hero Big Idea Edition will launch later this year, beyond the initial spring 2020 release window. The physical edition of the game will hit stores in early June, with dates staggered across three major regions.

Game Freak’s physical Little Town Hero Big Idea Edition hits North America on June 2, 2020. The game will then come to Europe on June 5, 2020. Finally, the game will launch in Oceania on June 12, 2020. These dates have been confirmed by both NIS America and Game Freak themselves and apply to both the Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 version of the game. The physical edition of the game includes the following:

  • A collector’s edition box
  • A copy of Little Town Hero for Nintendo Switch
  • Art book for the game titled “Life in the Village”
  • “Izzit? Dazzit!” Poster
  • “Defender Duo” Lapel Pin Set
  • “Town Tunes” the game’s official soundtrack

In Little Town Hero, players take on the role of a local who lives in a village that has forever been in the shadow of a great castle. When a monster unexpectedly attacks the village one day, the protagonist, with the help of a precious stone, is able to fight it off. Over the course of the game, he unravels the stone’s secrets, helping him throughout the story as he defends the village from various threats.
