Shortly after the game’s mobile release, Mamoswine is joining the roster in Pokémon Unite next week on September 29. Just like with Alolan Ninetales, Mamoswine will be able to freeze opponents, slowing them down for an easy KO. They also have a lunging attack that will send them flying towards opposing Pokémon, as well as a powerful Unite move, which sees Mamoswine stomping rapidly on the ground.

Pokémon Unite season 2 kicked off last week, bringing with it another Battle Pass, the mobile version, crossplay, and much more, and Mamoswine is soon to follow. Interestingly, the game finally has a fully fledged spectator mode, so we can probably expect proper tournaments in the near future. Sylveon, the Fairy-type evolution of Eevee, is expected to arrive sometime in October, as a new Pokémon normally arrives every 1-3 weeks. Other than that, we don’t know what else to expect in terms of new Pokémon. Personally, I’d like to see Infernape, which happens to be my favorite Pokemon. With the upcoming release of Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, hopefully we’ll see more Pokémon from the fourth generation make their way into the MOBA.
Pokémon Unite is free to download on Nintendo Switch, Android, and iOS. Are you excited to play as Mamoswine in Pokémon Unite? Let us know in the comments!
