Manji

Manji, the all-in-one Switch case, is a thoroughly impressive Switch shell that allows players to detach Joy-Con, play and charge in tabletop mode, and safely transport their systems, all without removing the case. I’m far from the only person who thinks that the Manji looks positively incredible–check out its Indiegogo page, where the case has already smashed past its $5000 funding goal with 28 days to spare. At the time of writing, the Manji already has 209 backers and $7598 raised. Those numbers are far from staggering on their own, but seeing the accessory hit full funding so quickly is marvelous, and excess funds will hopefully provide a safety net so that the company can reach their fast shipping goals.

With Manji aiming to ship before this year’s holidays, several backers have taken advantage of a 32% backer discount that brings the cost of the comprehensive case down from $40 to $27. That perk is going fast, so if you are in the market for a Switch case, this may be worth jumping in on sooner rather than later.

The all-in-one case has several perks beyond protection and flexibility. The ridged Joy-Con shells make for a smoother grip, and finger straps secure the system in place when sweaty hands are an issue. The case does not look like it can stay on while the Switch is docked, but that seems like an acceptable drawback considering all of the other capabilities of the Manji.
