Another week means more UK physical chart data, and Mario Golf: Super Rush has debuted at the number one spot. Just like with previous sales figures, Nintendo Switch software is thriving in the UK, with half of the top 10 being exclusive to the platform. Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and Animal Crossing: New Horizons are continuing to hold momentum. Further down the list is Ring Fit Adventure, which saw a price drop in the UK earlier this month, and Super Mario 3D World + Bowser’s Fury takes the tenth slot.
Below is the GfK top 10 for last week, ending on June 27.

Nintendo has another big launch coming up, with the release of The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD. And although the later half of summer is looking quiet for major first-party releases, September onward will be a busy period for Nintendo. In September, there is none other than WarioWare: Get It Together!. October will see two major launches with Metroid Dread and Mario Party Superstars. Shortly after, the highly anticipated Sinnoh remakes, Pokémon Brilliant Diamond and Shining Pearl, will launch in November.
It will be interesting to see how long Mario Golf: Super Rush remains on the UK charts, as the game has received mixed reviews from critics (us included).
