Nintendo has officially opened the Mario Kart 8 Miiverse community to the public. Although the Miiverse community was open before, it was only open to members of the press and Nintendo employees. Now, anybody can post to the Miiverse community even though Mario Kart only releases in two days, on May 30th.

Several retailers, including Sears and Target, have broken the street date on Mario Kart 8, meaning that many people have already purchased the game before release. Looking through the Miiverse community, many members are already posting screenshots of the game, even though it has not yet been officially released.

So far, Mario Kart 8 is doing very well critically. The game holds a score of 88 on Metacritic, and our very own Jonathon Harrington gave the game a 9/10 in his review last week.
