Mario Kart Tour Rarity rates

If you’ve been playing Mario Kart Tour all day or been on the fence, it’ll be worth your while to check out the official “gacha” rarity rates for the game. By use of a Pipe, the player randomly unlocks characters, karts, and gliders. The rarity rates run from 5 percent to 0.3 percent, with certain time-limited Spotlight items at 1 percent. Each Pipe has 100 uses before it resets and guarantees that Tour Spotlight items are received. Any duplicates result in an increase of that item’s skill level. Each use of the Pipe costs Rubies that can be bought or earned through races.
