One of the draws of the Game Boy Advance was the technological leap it had over it’s predecessor, the Game Boy Color. In 2004, German company Denaris Entertainment, lead by Manfred Trenz (creator of Turrican) created a 3D tech demo with Mario Kart sprites to show off what the Game Boy Advance was capable of.
For the first time ever, this video has surfaced online and is titled Mario Kart XXL. While certainly not impressive by today’s standards, in 2004 it would have been very interesting to see the full power of the Game Boy Advance console and what it was capable of.
