Japanese developer Compile Heart is known for putting plenty of style and charm into its titles. That fact is immediately evident in their bright and bubbly fourth-wall-breaking RPG series about humanized video game consoles Hyperdimension Neptunia, but the studio has been expanding its lineup of titles beyond the all-too-iconic Neptunia series in recent years. One of their fresher franchises is Mary Skelter, which started out as a grim and bloody first-person dungeon crawler on the PlayStation Vita back in 2016. A sequel arrived on PlayStation 4 and Nintendo Switch in 2018, and now, the trilogy is closing out with Mary Skelter Finale. The final game in the series is packed with sharp art and gorgeous music, and a new extended trailer gives us a preview of the entire soundrack.
The video also serves as an advertisement for the standalone soundtrack release of Mary Skelter Finale, detailing the massive tracklisting fans can expect. The huge, 78-song soundtrack is split across three separate CDs, with the first CD containing 26 tracks while the second CD has 30 and the final CD has 22. There are plenty of great tracks in here, from foreboding dungeon themes to exciting boss battle tracks.
Mary Skelter Finale is set to launch on Nintendo Switch and PlayStation 4 in Japan on October 8.
