Mega Man Battle Network soundtracks OST Spotify streaming music

Capcom’s Mega Man Battle Network original soundtracks (OSTs) are now streaming on Spotify and iTunes in the form of Rockman.EXE Sound Box. This comes as part of the 20th anniversary of the franchise, which, as we previously reported, should entail additional announcements as the year continues. And as Siliconera notes, in addition to bringing the six mainline Mega Man Battle Network soundtracks to Spotify and iTunes, you will also be able to stream music from Mega Man Battle Network 4.5: Real Operation (which received an English fan translation patch last year). Unfortunately, Mega Man Network Transmission from GameCube does not seem to be part of the package.

The likes of Spotify and iTunes are home to any number of awesome game soundtracks for streaming now, with or without Mega Man Battle Network OSTs. You have a bunch of Castlevania options, Bravely Default, and the Chrono games, among many others. Honestly, I don’t use any of these services though, and I stubbornly buy individual soundtracks for anything I’m really interested in. I’m old-school — or maybe just old.

Fans continue to hope that a Mega Man Battle Network Legacy Collection might be in the works for Nintendo Switch, collecting at least all the mainline entries, but Capcom has been silent on the matter so far.
