Melty Blood Type Lumina release date set for September

Type-Moon has announced the release date and two new playable characters for the upcoming Tsukihime fighter Melty Blood: Type Lumina. The publisher has also revealed that the 2D fighting game will come to PC via Steam alongside the previously announced Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and Xbox One versions.

In addition to the release date and Steam version announcement, Type-Moon unveiled two new playable characters with the twin maids Hisui and Kohaku. You can get a first look at their moves in the new trailer.

Fans in Japan will get the option to purchase a physical limited edition called the Melty Blood Archives for 11,800 yen (~$106.49). It includes the game, a 96-page art book, and a three-disc original soundtrack. The whole package comes in a special box with artwork by Takashi Takeuchi as well. However, the game will only be available digitally in the West. The standard edition will go for $49.99 and €49.99, while the deluxe edition will cost $69.99 and €69.99. All versions will come with the “Arcueid Round Announcements” DLC featuring the voice of Arcueid Brunestud to announce the rounds.
