We’ve known that Metro Redux is releasing on the Nintendo Switch thanks to retailer leaks and a PEGI listing earlier this year. Today, at long last, 4A Games finally made the official confirmation that the collection would come to Nintendo’s handheld console.
Metro ports incoming
This collection includes the first two entries in 4A Games’ long-running Metro series of video games, Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light. The titles are based on Dmitry Glukhovsky’s original novel, also named Metro 2033. Not only will you get both of these excellent titles, but the physical version of Metro Redux will also include a host of extras if you pre-order.
The extras, such as the pin badge sets and a double-sided poster, come as part of the “Ranger Cache,” which also includes art cards and a sleeve.
As for the ports themselves, they were developed in-house by 4A Games. Metro Redux will also include a complete collection of the DLC that was released for both of them. You can catch the announcement trailer for the Metro Redux Switch ports below.
