Microsoft is the youngest of the ‘Big 3’, and since they entered the console race, they have yet to lead the pack in terms of sales. Nevertheless, they’ve made a lot of strides that have propelled them to a very nice position with the XBOX brand being wildly recognizable worldwide. Nevertheless, that doesn’t mean they’re one to look down on their competitors. In a recent interview with Gamesbeat, Aaron Greenberg, the Head of Marketing for XBOX,  briefly talked about Nintendo, highlighting their innovation and the fact that they tend to play by their own rules. When asked about NX, GreEnberg says that he knows just as much as everyone else, and as far as competing, the team is unsure what to do at this point.

Here’s his full comments:

“I’m not sure what Nintendo’s doing. I hear the same rumors and stuff that you do. I guess we’ll react to that when we know more. Nintendo’s always been innovative. They’ve always differentiated in their own way. They’ve always danced to their own tune, if you will. It wouldn’t surprise me if they do their own thing when the time is right. What they’ve done is unique and different. How they’ll compete with us remains to be seen.”’
