Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ver. 8.0 live now Min Min Spring Stadium Arms music Fighters Pass Vol. 2 Masahiro Sakurai Nintendo Switch

We learned a week ago that ArmsMin Min and her Spring Stadium level were coming to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate in ver. 8.0, and now all of that glorious new content is finally live to download! The update is here on Nintendo Switch. If you need a reminder on how to access it, go to the Nintendo Switch home screen, scroll over to Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, hit the “+” button, select “Software Update,” and then (presumably) select “Via the Internet.” Then you’re off to the races to get playing as Min Min, assuming you’ve already purchased the character.

(Note: If the game claims the update is not yet available — start the game. It should give you a message that the update is available. Then go back to the main menu to start downloading.)

Min Min, Spring Stadium, and a host of in-game Arms music tracks can be bought for $5.99. Alternatively, if you’ve bought Fighters Pass Vol. 2 for $29.99, all of that content is already included in this pass. Five more unannounced DLC characters will be included in Fighters Pass Vol. 2.

Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ver. 8.0 will also bring the usual fighter balancing changes, with patch notes likely to be available soon. (Update: Here are the patch notes!) And of course, there are new Mii Fighter outfits to enjoy, including Vault Boy from Fallout of all characters.

With Super Smash Bros. Ultimate ver. 8.0 live now, you know what to do — go update and enjoy your stretchy-armed new warrior, Min Min!
