Released in June 2017, Arms is famous for its “thumbs-up grip” for its high-octane extending punch gameplay. It’s certainly unique in a Nintendo sort of way. And now we have a Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Arms character: Min Min (the one who has Mintendo Noodle House). Kosuke Yabuki, the producer of Arms, said, “I want Min Min (in Smash).” Thus, Masahiro Sakurai made it a reality. Integrating her into Super Smash Bros. Ultimate was very difficult for Sakurai. However, light fighters and aerial fighters will struggle against her. Her level is Spring Stadium, which has springs at the end of the screen, reminiscent to of in her game. This DLC pack releases June 29 for $5.99 and is also part of Fighters Pass Vol. 2. Eighteen new Arms music tracks come along for the ride as well.
This character can extend her arms for a tilt attack. You can control her arms while jumping and use smash inputs in the air. The B button isn’t a typical special though; rather, the B button controls the arm not used by the A button. Thus, her special moves are more unique than those of a normal fighter. Down + B provides an “Arms change” which changes the types of punch/attack she does. It allows this unique character to attack from new angles or at different speeds.
We now have the official trailer showcasing Min Min and Spring Stadium, which, again, comes free if you already have Fighters Pass Vol. 2!
