Minecraft player beats game without mining

If you’ve ever played Minecraft with the intent of beating the game, you know it can take an incredible amount of time to do so. You have to farm for multiple items to help you get to different realms. This alone can take hours. You’ll also want to pick up plenty of upgraded weapons and armor to take on the final boss. Basically, this task is already not for your average casual Minecraft player. So it is a little mindblowing to find out that somebody beat it without mining at all.

Reddit user spikyhedgey was able to collect all of their resources needed from nearby villages and other locations to reach the final goal. They were also incredibly lucky. They could have easily been stuck in a world that didn’t generate nearly as many materials that were up for grabs. They also could have been stuck behind a wall of blocks at any point in the Nether.

Admittedly, the only real key to this strategy is just a ton of looting. But it’s still a journey I have neither the time nor effort to put myself through.

Gamers are always looking for new challenges for their favorite games. Recently, somebody strangely built a real rock climbing wall to play Celeste. Personally, I’ll just stick to how the game was intended to be played.

What are your thoughts? Could you make it through Minecraft all the way to the end without mining a single time? Let us know what you think in the comments!

I love all kinds of video games. I personally find the most enjoyment in JRPGs, Visual Novels, and pretty much anything Nintendo makes. I'm always open to discovering new types of games, so I'll be happy to check out anything someone suggests.
