Minecraft Super Smash Bros. Ultimate Steve Alex, Zombie, Enderman Masahiro Sakurai livestream fighters pass 2

With the Challenger Pack 7 DLC, Minecraft has finally secured a spot in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate with a quartet of representatives, including Steve, Alex,  Zombie, and Enderman. While plenty of fans of the immensely popular game are happy to finally see Minecraft represented in gaming’s greatest crossover, plenty of others are annoyed by the inclusion of the blocky characters – especially at the expense of other potential DLC fighters such as Crash Bandicoot or Dante. Where do you stand on Steve (and friends) joining Super Smash Bros. Ultimate?

Personally, I do not care. I am not interested in Steve, any of his buddies, or Minecraft in general. (That’s not to say I hate the game, I’ve just never been into it.) He’s not a character I would have selected for my DLC dream team. However, he looks fun to play as, and I can’t deny that a series as popular as Minecraft deserves a spot in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. I’ve been sort of checked out of the DLC announcements ever since Banjo joined Joker and K. Rool as newcomers. I’ve practically received my entire Super Smash Bros. wishlist, and at this point, while I still have a few characters I’d like to see, I just want the remaining additions to be fun to play as.

How do you feel about Steve in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate? Will you be picking up his DLC pack? Why or why not? Let us know in the comments below.
