It has only been a few days, but there is already a Minecraft Steve glitch in Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Not surprising, since so much work had to be done on the game’s stages to incorporate his move set. This particular bug is a pretty big game-breaker. By utilizing Steve’s (or his doppelgangers’) block creation move, a setup can be constructed where an opponent will fall through the floor if they try to break the bricks.
I smell an incoming patch to fix the Minecraft Steve glitch
Here’s footage of the malfunction, courtesy of GameXplain:
Reddit user -BunsenBurn- discovered the bug occurs when Steve places two blocks in a vertical sequence with a space in the middle. If an adversary hits the bottom block with two jabs, they fall through. Luckily, the glitch only happens on certain stages and Samus/Dark Samus are the usual victims of it. Nevertheless, this snag will have to be investigated by Nintendo and fixed in due time.
