Capcom announced today that Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate, the follow up to 2016 3DS release, will launch as an exclusive on the Nintendo Switch on August 28. The game will release digitally and at retail.

Capcom said that Ultimate will allow players to hunt cooperatively with up to three other players in locally or online and will be able to do so on their TV or on the go. This version of the game will feature powerful versions of existing monsters and new areas to explore.

Fortunately, if you played Monster Hunter Generations, you’ll be able to transfer your data over to the new version. Your 500-hour saves are in good hands.
