Capcom has announced in today’s E3 2021 showcase that Monster Hunter Rise will get its 3.1 update on June 24, 2021. We also got a look at a new trailer that shows what’s coming, including an updated roadmap for the new content.
Before the next major update arrives, Monster Hunter Rise will get its first Capcom Collab content with a Palico Layered Armor of Tsukino from Monster Hunter Stories 2 on June 18. It will be the first of several collaborations featuring other Capcom titles. The Monster Hunter Rise 3.1 update arrives a week after, but it won’t include any new monster additions. Instead, the update will focus on DLC and Event Quests.
However, starting July 9, players can use save data from Monster Hunter Stories 2 to receive the “Rider” Layered Armor set.
The second Capcom Collab DLC Event Quest is expected to launch near the end of July as part of the 3.2 update. The third Capcom Collab won’t take much longer and will arrive in August 2021. Capcom hasn’t revealed which titles the collaborations will feature, but we’ll likely find out soon as we approach July.
