Monster Hunter Rise

When the recently announced Monster Hunter Rise makes its way onto Switch next year, it’ll be accompanied by three amiibo models – one each for the Palamute, Magnamalo, and Palico. Upon their announcement, we had no clue what these amiibo would look like, but a recent update to each figure’s Amazon Japan listing raised the curtain. You can see each amiibo in the picture at the top of the page, and you can also visit the Amazon Japan pages for each amiibo: here’s Palamute, here’s Magnamalo, and here’s Palico.

The amiibo look pretty nice, but we have still got a whole lot to learn about the game they’re paired with. That situation should take of itself over time; while we don’t know a whole lot about Monster Hunter Rise right now, details are slowly trickling in. In the past week, we’ve learned that the game runs on Capcom’s RE engine, and we were treated to a handful of screenshots detailing Kamura Village and some ruins just a few days ago.

Are you excited for Monster Hunter Rise? Are you excited enough (or dedicated enough to collecting amiibo) to grab these figurines when they launch next year? Let us know your plans for this game and its corresponding amiibo in the comments below.
